When Louis Vuitton first announced the launch of its eastward-commerce in Singapore in early October, our initial reaction, admittedly, was 1 of cynicism.
Why would anyone want (or need) a pocketbook, or a pair of shoes, or a slice of wrist processed delivered when they can simply saunter into whatever one of Vuitton'south five boutiques in Singapore to choice upwardly the merch?
Mind you, we say this as large fans of e-commerce – our credit card statements and PayPal accounts will attest.
